How to join or volunteer with the California Cadet Corps
Volunteers:
- Understand and Comply with Code of Ethics and Cadet Protection Policies
- Be approved/vetted in accordance with local school and district volunteer policies (if applicable)
- Act under direct supervision of Commandants
- Assistant Commandants, Special Projects Officers (HQ and Brigade levels):
- Understand and Comply with Code of Ethics and Cadet Protection Policies (if applicable)
- Be approved/vetted in accordance with local school and district volunteer policies
- Application Packet (except for the Form 11) must be submitted, approved, and orders published establishing position in CACC
Commandants:
- Understand and Comply with Code of Ethics and Cadet Protection Policies
- Be approved/vetted in accordance with local school and district volunteer policies (if applicable)
- Application Packet must be submitted, approved, and orders published establishing position in CACC
- Attend Basic Commandant Training Academy
- Checklist
- Review CACC Commandant Code of Ethics
- Review CACC Cadet Protection Policy
- Complete School/District Policies (Livescan, TB tests, etc)
How to submit completed forms:
We now request that all application packets be submitted to: Personnel@cacadets.org
Packets will be processed in the order received by Human Resources. If items are missing (signatures, dates, transcripts/diplomas, completed Live Scan Request, proof of TB or incomplete forms) this will delay the process. An email for completion will be sent to applicants for follow up.
